George Ferzli Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

I mainly see Doctor Ferzli's associate Doctor Vulpe, but I have seen Doctor Ferzli on several occasions. He is a great surgeon. I had a Lap Band for seven years but it didn't work for me. I'm hoping to have a bypass and that I will have better results. I enjoy the support groups because everyone can express their feelings about each procedure. Doctor Vulpe, the psychologist and nutritionists all explained everything that I can expect. Karen, the coordinator and all the ladies in the office are very patient and kind. This program is excellent. I have been on diets for years and have suffered with obesity. They are all compassionate and caring.

I felt very comfortable with Doctor Ferzli from the first meeting. He was sweet and gave me a lot of information about the pros and cons of surgery. I was happy to know that not only could surgery improve my weight but it may also help with my diabetes. I hope to be off insulin one day. this program is the besst! They not only spend a lot of time with you before but aftercare is also stressed. I have no complaints, only good feelings.

When i first met Doctor Ferzli I thought him to be very serious but personable. There was nothing about him that I disliked. I feel that I can trust him to perform my weight loss surgery if it gets approved. The program is very well organized with a step by step process to help you know what you need to do as a patient. The nutritionists, coordinator and office workers are very committed to helping you complete the process. I haven't even had surgery yet and have followed up with them already several times. This makes me feel even more confident in the program.

It reinforces that I have made the right decision. I love the fact that Doctor Ferzli is a highly rated and respected surgeon.

Although the preparation for weight loss surgery was difficult, I felt it was necessary for my safety and that I required much paper work completed for my insurance. I am confident in the skill and expertise Doctor Ferzli and his staff offer. I was so happy when the staff called me to inform me that I was approved for surgery.

The office staff and Doctor Ferzli have been very professional and organized. This doctor definitely knows what he's doing. He has practiced this surgery and others on thousands of patients, not only in the US but in other countries. I liked everyhting about the office from the very first visit and I would refer anyone there. It's an excellent surgical weight loss program in my opinion.

I have just signed consent and am expecting to be approved for surgery. I found Doctor Ferzli to be very serious minded about the procedure. I had confidence in him from the first time I met him. He is very professional and honest. The program coordinator and nutritionist gave me good information and reviewed it all with me. I am pleased that they continue to follow up after my surgery is conducted. This seems like a very good program overall and I am pleased with my decision.

I would rate this program as excellent as it is very detailed and the entire staff presents themselves professionally. Someone is always available to answer a question which makes me feel secure. I have recently signed consent and throughout the process of completing my paperwork, the whole staff was supportive.

I felt I have made a good choice in wanting to have weight loss surgery with Doctor ferzli. When i met him, he was very informative and professional. It was evident that he has a lot of knowledge. He spent more time with me than I thought and he explained everything about the procedure. All risks of the procedure were discussed and there is much emphasis on aftercare.
