Hey AMOS family! Today is my 6 month anniversary. It has been an amazing journey so far and will only get better. I cannot believe how much weight I have lost, definitely more than I anticipated by this point - 144 lbs total, which includes 21 lbs the two weeks before surgery. I count them in since I would likely not have lost them if I had not decided to have surgery. Most likely I would have gained another 21 lbs by now. <p>I am able to do whatever I want. I don't even worry about whether I will fit in a chair or not anymore. Adjusting to this new eating life has not been difficult for me and for that I am so thankful. I really feel that I was ready for this change. It was time to chose to live or die and I chose to live. This is by far the best decision I have ever made for me! I can't wait to see where I am at when my 1 yr anniversary rolls around. I hope everyone who wants WLS has the opportunity to get it!! Thanks for all the support! Chris D.

CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to the Century Club! I wish you continued success as you work toward your goal. Being under 300 is fabulous- and it will only get better as you continue to lose. Congratulations on reaching this goal and looking foward to you posting as you reach the next one-

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Hey there (again) Just a thought, noticing how many fur babies you have and wondering if you frequent the dog park. If so, look for me, the only one out there with a white boxer named Emma and her little (well, bigger than her now..ha) brother Kona a dark brindle boy.

Hi Chris, so glad to hear that things are going well for you. I too am in Oshkosh so all this great info that you post is wonderful! I have just begun my journey and already have an insurance road block. Will be switching to CIGNA during open enrollment so can't really do much til January next year. I really am going to have to watch them on my letter. I have so much info prepared and am worried the letter won't be good enough. Anyway, love seeing your progress and congrats! Now, on to enjoy our WI weather. Rain? Sun? Snow? Hopefully not anymore..haha. This week the heater for 3 days and next week will require A/C...haha!! Take care!
