Well, its been one year since my surgery. I have lost 152 pounds!! I feel so much better - physically and emotionally. i am SO MUCH happier with life. I have to thank Dr Hess who gave me my smile and my life back!!
To anyone who is considering having the surgery, DO IT. You wont regret it. It is not an easy thing to do but nothing worthwhile ever is!!!

Well, I just went down to weigh myself. I have lost about 53 pounds in about two months!!
I am trying not to get obsessed over the scale but my clothes feel bigger so I figured I would give it a try!!
I am on Stage 5 of the eating program (I refuse to say diet) but I am nervous about incorporating new foods. I have only had dumping once but it was NOT fun...
Anyway - 53 pounds gone!! WOOO HOOOOO

First post op appointment

I had my first post-op appointment today. I have lost 32 pounds in 16 days!! Incredible!!
I am a bit sick of protein shakes but I see the Nutritionist on Monday and I am hoping she will advance me to Stage four....
WOOOO HOOOOOOOO...working on getting weighed on that regular scale!!!
