I've battled weight since my late 20's and recently reached my highest weight ever. Two summers ago I began having issues
walking and had a lot of leg and knee pain. I also couldn't walk without being out of breath. I've always been active and I could no longer keep up with others. The low point was during my daughter's college tour, she was so excited to see the campus and I
knew I couldn't keep up with the group. I sent my husband with her and I caught up eventually. It was time to do something,
then this Christmas a dear co-worker (who had just brought home twin grandbabies from the hospital) came to work on Wednesday the day after Christmas and died that night of a heart attack. He too had a weight problem with diabetes. I was devastated and it triggered me to finally say I have to do something. I have great support and know that this will be the best thing I ever did for me....
