I am writing this for my wife Vicki. Just to let everyone know her surgery went very well this morning. After surgery and as the day went on and she was becoming more familiar with her surrounding. Vicki was sitting up in bed as well as getting into a chair. Slowly but the fact is she was doing it. Plus taking a few short walks. One this afternoon, then another one this evening. Looks like vicki will be having the leak test performed Thursday morning. Once this is completed then her 24 hours in ICU will be over. Thats all for now.

hey vicki, kristin here just wishing you the best tomorrow! hope all goes perfectly!!! i will check on you when you return home all safe and sound. i am hanging in there as i will see dr. wongsa next tuesday!

Vicky, Good luck and God Bless in surgery tomorrow. I had mine last monday 11th and everything went fine at Vista. nurses were nice and helpful. Hang in there. Just breathe and try to get out of the bed ASAP, even in the ICU. Love Sharon Rigdon

Thanks, Vicky for you supportive note to me , I will now be at Pasadena Hospital so I am not sure if they changed anyone else scheduled for June 11th. But, God Bless you and may your surgery go well, Keep us posted. See ya on the other side. Sharon Rigdon

Good Luck Vicki, If goes as planned I will be with you in the hospital on June 11, 2001. We can walk the halls together and be in pain together! Congratulation! I also have United Healthcare...they are the BEST!!!!

We will have to keep in touch up until our surgery date & then as we recuperate!! Here's to May 29th and a newer, healthier life!! Love, Karan
