It is so hard for me to talk about myself. If this were a face to face conversation I would surely find a way to turn it around to be about the other person. I have a hard time taking compliments about myself from others. I am the oldest daughter of Faye, big sister to Dawn, mother to Jordan and auntie to Paris. I am the wife of Rudolph. I am friends to many. There are many people on my journey with me right this moment. My two best friends (Tave & Candice) are walking with me on my two week preop liquid diet and have really been a support. They are two people who I happened to meet when Rudy, baby Jordan and I moved to Hampton Roads from Chicago due to a Navy move over 12 years ago. Jordan is now 13 telling people he is 15
. From those two my surrogate family has grown, but they are the root of the tree. I have been a big girl all my life but always "kept it together." I mean I married the most handsome man and produced a handsome son. My husband had to leave too early to go be by God's side but left me a son and supportive family and friends to walk with in this life. My story is still being written and is no way over, so until next time we meet.........
