Surgery Day

I went in Thursday, September 25th at 5:45am and had surgery at around 7am. I was back in my room about 2-2 1/2 hours later and feeling in some pain but not unmanageable with the pain medication. The staff at Barix made me feel like I was the only person there and took care of my every need. They were so friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night since my surgeon felt I was fine to go home and we both thought I would be more relaxed there.
The car ride home was pretty uncomfortable. Every bump we hit made my stomach hurt and I felt very nauseous but we made it.
Over the course of the next few days up until today I have been taking my pain medications and feeling very out of it and tired. The worst has been the tiredness. I can control the pain with the pain meds but I always only stay awake for short periods of time throughout the day. I do get up and walk as much as possible and drink all day long. I also have been trying to get my protein in as much as possible.
