Hello Elizabeth, I just wanted to say congratulations on your decision to have weight loss surgery. I see that you has WLS on Feb. 15th, so welcome to the other side. As you start to lose the pounds you are going to feel so much better and your energy level will just grow. In just a few short months you’ll be able to do things you never thought possible. The little things will get so much easier, like tying your shoes. I know, I had RNY Gastric Bypass in August of 2004, and I’ve lost 130 lbs. Now the surgery and the change in lifestyle are not walks in the park. That’s why I go to a support group meeting once a week and you are welcome to join us. Our weight loss surgery support group is free and meets every Thursday at Western Medical Center Hospital on Tustin Ave. in Santa Ana, CA, in the basement in Conference Room 4, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. There’s more information at http://wlbss.com . GOOD LUCK, Elizabeth...don't be afraid, nervous is okay but don't be scared...the hospital people do everything to take goood care of you....You are a beautiful girl (I saw your pic) you are going to be one sexy little mama....I hope that you got a chance to go to church, if you didn't, don't worry, just pray...God listens wherever you are..............I'm new to this site and currently finishing the prereqs...Hopefully everyone will be wishing me luck, soon..........keep us posted!!!!!!!!
