Good Morning,

I am blogging you all on not such a good note. My co worker had the duodenal switch performed a day before I had the bypass 12/8/2009. Well I am writing to say that she lost her battle in the fight to get LITE!!. Since having the surgery, she never really was able to recouperate. Gotta let you know that she had pnuemonia before she actually had the surgery. She never really did what was required of her by her doctor. When she came out of surgery, she was able to go home. The next day she returned with complications....INFECTION!!  There was a tracheotomy(sp?) performed because fluid had filled her lungs. NOT TO MENTION AN AVID SMOKER WHO DID NOT STOP!  Somewhere in between this time, she got worst. She was being poked and explored everywhere because the infection needed to be scrapped out. Well this happened but to NO AVAIL. Dr had to induce COMA!!! She was in a Coma for 2 1/2 months. AFTER thinking that they had cleared her from infection, she was awakened NOT TO KNOW IF IT IS DAY OR NIGHT!! SHE COULDNT WALK SO SHE HAD TO GO TO REHABILITATION TO RE LEARN. HER REFLEX MUSCLES WERE NOT ALOWING HER TO SWALLOW ON HER OWN, SO SHE HAD TO LEARN THAT TOO.          LONG STORY SHORT.....SHE NEVER TOLD DR'S THAT SHE WAS STILL DOING THE THINGS THAT SHE WAS NOT TO DO PRIOR TO SURGERY. sHE NEVER TOLD THEM THAT SHE WAS JUST SICK A WEEK PRIOR. sHE PROLLY WEIGHED BOUT 399. sHE LOST 250LBS  I HEAR THRU OUT THIS TIME. sHE WAS ONLY EATING WATER AND CHEWABLE CHILDRENS VITAMIN NOW FROM THE TIME SHE GOT OUT FROM REHAB. sHE LEAVES BEHIDE 3 CHILDREN; YOUNGEST BEING 16 AND IF HE COULD TAKE HER TO THE RESTROOM...HE WOULD.!!!! SHE WAS HIS RIGHT HIP, THIGH, ARM AND EYE.....R.I.P Terri DelRio    age 45
I just wished she was not so stubborn.....But the Lord had other plans for her!!!!!

HELLO ALL,

So, I have reached my one year anniversary. I started @ 230 lbs, now I teeter-tot between 150 lbs and 155 lbs. I must say things are different, in the way that people look at you ( most, happy looks ) THEN there are the ones that ( imma just SMH on) because I see them peeking LOL and it is so funny...(((((((just go get your weight loss on too!))))) then those who make the SLY remarks as if they are just kidding....hahaha I know about the "just kiddings" or "Oh, Im just jokings". So it has been this one lady @ my job that asks me on a weekly basis with a lil grin  on her face, "Oh are you getting bulimic or anorexic? I said, "Have you seen me throwing up or something?" She was like, "Oh hehehe, I was just kidding girl cuz your getting skinny" So I say, I THINK THAT WAS THE PURPOSE (w/ a lil sarcasm). So I know that this is new to everyone and for me it was a "reinvention" of myself. I say "reinvention" because I have had a Verticle Gastric Ring before that did not work so well for me. This time I got the bypass..."The BYPASS is the BUSINESS at least for me!"
Since the loss, yeah I have gotten lot's of attention from the men and women young and old. The men ugh ugh ugh, the old guy's that think I'm much younger than what I am are HOLLERIN @ me...YUCK!!! I never liked OLD MEN!!! Sorry for any reading this but just my preference!

So yeah, I am back to my blog....Could never finish because of the 3 year old.

Today is Jan. 4th 2011.... And I  thought I may have been at my peak but I guess not, I am weighing 145 yea!!!! So I am liking the new me. I am able to wear the fashions that I like and not what I have to wear!!!  Yall know how that is LOL!!!

So now I am wanting a TT and some BOOBS. Especially the BOOBS...they are depleted!!!  Any suggestions of surgeons???? I am located in California!!! Have thought about Dr. Gongora ONLY cuz I have seen his work as far as TT and LIPO and the BOOTAY LIFTED!!!! I had a friend go to Dr Gongora.. The only thing for her is that she has put the belly back on from her man COOKING ALL THE STARTCHES.... I think he wanted her to gain it back as quiet as it's kept. Still a pretty lady though but I guess that is what was being said about us USED TO BE FATTY'S, "She has a pretty face!"

So New Years was a blast! I brought it in with a bang. I also am able to wear heels and NOT have my doggs HURTING!!! Im talking HEELS, thigh high boots N THANGS. Well just living and loving self right now vowing to stick with the program. I am liking this so much that I dont EVA EVA EVA want to go back pushing 200 plus.

NOW THE DOWN SIDE:

HAIR FALLING OUT..remedy...WIGS, 27 pieces, weaves. I used to be 1 who had very thick hair along with a thick body LOL. Now it's the opposite! Good thing is that I could care less about the hair cuz I can do other things to it. So I have cut my hair all the way down to a TWA....(tinnie weenie afro) LMAOOO! But it's all good....Im just starting over.

VITAMINS: I have not been taking them as I should! been a bad bad girl... I still have a hard time getting the protein in. Everything is just NASTY, CHALKY and yall know!

ILLNESS: Thank the Lord I have not been too sick or anything. I have developed anemia. I did get sick once since having the surgery and stayed sick for about 2 1/2 weeks arrgg!

But All in All...I feel good! Will be posting photos..STANDBY

Feeling better today, I went home after work and I got my heating pad out. I turned that sucka on HIGH....OHHHH MY this felt GREAT. The only thing is that I got too much sleep and I woke up with BAGGGGS under my eyes Oooh DAYUM!!

So yesterday 1/24/10 I went walking. I walked 3 miles as opposed to 1 1/2. Well, when I got home I sat down and I don't know if that was the wrong thing to do or what. But when I got up my hip area and my lower back hurt so bad!!! I felt like a lil ol' lady walking. Today 1/25/10 I am still feeling it. I am also having a lil tingling in my fingers in my left hand. I don't know if yall have experienced this but if you have lemme know.

My SAINTS WON YESTERDAY...WHO DAT!!!! WE DAT!!! Super Bowl BABYYYY!!!!

As of today I have dropped 5 more lbs. It feel so good!!!!   It's funny how it is always the LADIES that have trouble seeing another woman lose weight and feel good about themselves. I have a friend who I never thought she would have been this way with me. I have seen her in action with others but after I came to reality I said....Who Am I? This is a friend for over 20 yrs OOOWEE. I know she likes being CENTER OF ATTENTION but it is not always that SHE will have the FLOOR...Move OVER LOL.....There is  ENOUGH ROOM for us all!  It really shows when the MEN make comments to me. WOW.   I have had some other Women who have GOOD to say to me and not be Jealous or insecure. This just tickles me PINK.
