I had the Lap Band placement on tuesday 8/11, now i'm back at work. Things are a little sore but not debilitating. I was really dealing with alot of fear prior to surgery. Now that overwith i just need to heal up and get on with losing the extra body i'm carring around.

After reading some of the other posts I've calmed down some, and I'm more confident in my decision to go with the LAP Band. I think it is just the fear of failing after the surgery and all I've had to go thru to get the help i need.

I now have a surgery date of 8/12/09. After all the tests and appointments, now i am starting to second guess having the LAP Band instead of the Bypass.
