Things have been great since I had the surgery on March 18th. My hospital stay was good. I wanted to walk every chance I got because I did not want gas to set in my stomach or my back. Now I must say, I did experience pains in my back after surgery. There was really nothing they could give me for that. Once I took the pain medication for my incision, it seem to ease my back some. Once I left the hospital, I am at my parents house recovering since I stay alone. It is kind of hard being back home because my mom want to do all this cooking and I am on a liquid diet and cant eat those things. Next week I start my soft food diet and I can not wait! I am going back home next week also so it will be something because I will be all alone again. I am a week and 3 days out from my surgery and I have lost 18lbs and I feel great! I will be back for more up date.
