i am 24 years old..engaged to the love of my life....we have been together 7 years......i recently graduated from college and have a bachelors degree in speech pathology and audiology.....i am now getting certified in elementary education...i love children.....umm my surgery story is this....i was 139 pounds 3 years ago....all of a sudden i started to gain weight uncontrolably..like 20 pds a month....after 2 and a half years my doctors finally realized i have PCOS and also insulin resistence.....PCOS causes excessive weight gain and the insulin resistence was the real kicker because i am an insulin dependent diabetic.....i am having to take sooo much insulin...about 10 times my normal dose and man i have just blown up i now way 295...which is alot dif from 139...so thats my story..i hope to get surgery in late march early april....
