I am now 2 years post-op and still 140 pounds lighter!!  The year between your 1 & 2 year post-op anniversaries is
the toughest according to my surgeon.  It's during that time that you start to have regrets about the joy of eating you left behind.  I made it without gaining any weight!!  YAY!!
I have to say that I just don't understand people who miss the eating habits of old!!  What did you go throught all this for??  I don't miss "Miss Piggy" at all....nor do I miss the enormous amounts of food I used to consume.  I love the new me and I have every intention of staying this way!!  I get full so fast that even my favorite foods in the world can't make me over-eat!
You have to maintain the attitude that you did this for a reason.  Think about those reasons.  Do you really want to go back in time and be the person you were?  Not me!!  Not that I was a bad person....but being obese makes one very insecure....embarrassed about eating in restaurants and thinking everyone is looking at you thinking "she really doesn't need that potato.........paranoid that everyone is looking at you......I wouldn't go back to that for anything........I hope nobody else does either!!
Love & Kisses............v
