"i haven't actually met with dr. benavides yet. i had consultation with his partner, cardiologist dr. fred maese. met dr. benavides for the first time at preop appt. on march 29. he's awesome. tells it exactly like it is. explains things to you in detail, answers all questions and gives you that positive, you're gonna do this attitude. surgery was uneventful! he certainly knows his stuff. i've had absolutely NO pain from actual surgery; just pressure/discomfort from the gas they use. i had complete confidence in him and his ability and believe me, it wasn't misplaced. a true pioneer in AGBing!!
