Well I got banded on 1/15/07 and now I am 5 days out.  The liquid diet is getting to me but I have to wait another 5 days to get mushies.  My husband was making sausage this morning and boy did it smell good.  The first few days were very uncomfortable but I am doing better now.  I will get my first fill on 2/11/07.   I can't wait to see how this all works out.

I found out a few days ago that insurance has approved me so now I am just waiting on a surgery date.   I can't wait to get started.

I have completed my 90 day insurance required supervised weight loss program and my documents have been submitted to insurance.  Now I wait praying and keeping my fingers crossed that they will approve the surgery.     It will be a gamble since although I am considered morbidly obese, my BMI has been between 35 and 40 for the last 5 years.  I have high blood pressure, so that might not be enough for them to approve, but it was worth giving it a try.  So think good thoughts......
