so i met with my surgeon today and he scheduled my surgery for thursday.  THIS THURSDAY! 2 DAYS AWAY!! i still can't believe it. after all this waiting, it is going to happen in 2 days. i am so excited but yet so nervous at the same time. i don't feel like i have anything prepared here at the house (as far as laundry and groceries go).  I guess who cares though, right?  This year is all about me and i am starting thursday to get a new lease on life.  i have already found that i love to bike ride so i think this will help a great deal post-op. i can't wait to see what other sports i actually will enjoy after losing weight. no more being out of breath just walking to work from my car, or walking up one flight of stairs, or even when i am doing house work. this is going to be so amazing!

The wait is finally over! After 1 long year of completing classes for my insurance, i am done and approved for my surgery.  i can't believe that i will no longer be "the fat friend" or weigh more than 200lbs!!!  I am so excited and praise GOD for getting me through this every time i wanted to quit. 

Thanks to everyone out ther who keeps blogging. Your words are inspiring and will help all of us newbies through this too.
