"I had a ds bypass in 2002 and after losing 150 pounds the skin on my stomach was excessive. My insurance company PacifiCare agreed and covered the lower panniculectomy and it was my choice to pay for the muscle tightening which was so worth it!
Dr. D is a surgeon who isn't full of himself and doesn't over promise and under deliver. Quite the opposite. Because I already had the scar from the bypass running from navel to sternum I asked him to take it in and redo that suture line because it was unsightly and wide though it was pale after all the years passing. Well.. all I can say is my stomach is flat flat flat! and I have a nipped in waist and cute belly button...and the scar...oh my gosh...it's soooo thin it will be invisible I'm sure when the healing is completed. I could not be happier. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I could look like this. I'm so happy and Dr. D has a great eye. He knows just how much to tighten and what the result will look like. He is amazing! I would go to him for any procedure now that I've been through this one and I trust him implicitly. He's got a great personality and makes you feel really comfortable. I've even had him do a little restylane to plump up my upper lip and again, he's got the best eye. Not too much, not too little. Just right. He's the best and he's board certified. I had outpatient surgery from Saddleback hospital but he has his own surgi center too which I would not hesitate to use. The facilities are impeccible. He gets 5 stars from me.

"Dr. Anthone is a very pleasant guy. Very professional and concerned. He and his nurse Maria urged me to go to an orientation to be able to ask all questions and to be informed on the mortality rate and why's, as well as the details of the surgeries available. Maria is also very patient and answers questions when you are in office and made me feel quite relaxed about the surgery when I spent about an hour with her the day prior. She was very compassionate during my epidural and was amazingly comforting.<br>
The facilities are impeccable as is USC Hospital where he performs the surgery. I am very relaxed about his ability and manner.<br>
After surgery~
Dr. Anthone is so wonderful, he saw me regularly in the hospital and was very concerned with how I was doing. He has a staff of resident doctors who also look in on you daily. Dr. A is one of the most humble doctors I have ever met. He doesn't boast or even take patient praise without a blush. He is always friendly and warm and never makes you feel like another number.
He has as much time as you need for answering questions after surgery too. "
"I am completely satisfied with the staff and the accomodations to the highest degree. It's a beautiful hospital with great parking and easy access. Not overly crowded in general. The staff are the kindest and most considerate health care workers I have ever been surrounded by. It was amazing."
