I've been looking forward to the day when the scale said 199.  It seems I have been stuck in the 200-210 for so long now.  To my surprise when I stepped on the Scale on Sunday, one day short of six years and one month Post-Op it read 197.7!!!!  I was sooo happy I almost cried.  A friend had given me a pair of sixe 16 pants around Memorial Day, and I made the goal to fit in them by Labor Day.  Well I didn't meet that goal, but today, two and a half weeks after Labor Day, for laughs I tried on the pants and THEY FIT!!!  In fact, I am wearing them right now.  And they're not the stretchy kind either, that give way for those few extra inches.  17.7 pounds to go to reach that goal from six years ago. 

Tuesday was my six year anniversary, and when I stepped on the scale, I found I have only 20.4 pounds to go to meet my original goal weight that I made with Dr. Aranow six years ago.  I am very excited.   I still am waiting for the day where the scale says 199, however I forsee that coming in the very near future.  I still get stares when I only eat a quarter of the lunch I purchase at work, but I fixed that problem this past week by bringing some of my before pictures to show some of the girls at work.  I work in a nursing home, so it's mainly females that I work with.  It was a great laugh how they all passed the pictures around and commented on how they wouldn't even recognize that it was me, except for my eyes and my smile.  They were all very supportive, and it was nice to share my experience.  One of the girls at work is also looking into WLS with Dr. Aranow, so I'm looking forward to helping her on her journey.  So that's about it for now.  It's been funny after four years after my plateau to start losing again (I'm down about another twenty or so pounds) and I'm starting to get the questions like when I first started losing, about how are you doing it, and oh my you've lost weight.  IT brings me back about six years.
