I am back to starting my surgery journey. I thought I could do it on my own but I can't. I have my first consult on 9/10 to talk to Dr. Scott Stowers about gastic sleeve surgery. My plan is Feb 2014! Hoping all goes well!!! I'm ready to start my life over!!!!

I have researched WLS for several years now and am finally ready to take the steps to have the sugery. That said I don't know if Gastric or Lap Band is right for me so I'm going to use OH to read and study on both surgery procedures. I have battled my weight problem since I was about 19. I didn't have a weight issue in HS but once I got out the weight started to pile on. I have lost most of it and gained it back over the years and I am tired of the battle.
