Merry Christmas! The season is upon us and never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I'd be wearing a size 10 to church next week! I've now lost 65 lbs and I'm so in love with my new body and the way I look. I love the lapband and wouldn't have been able to do this without the surgery!

About 2 weeks Post-op

Ok...so I'm about two weeks post-op. I have been cheating the diet here and there. I'm supposed to be on full-liquids right now but I have ate some mashed potatoes, baked fish, and cottage cheese. All are going down well with no problems. My main excitment right now is that I tried on a pair a 16 jeans....and they fit like a glove. I have dropped a pants size in under 3 weeks. This is SUCH a awesome day. I am feeling so high right now just on the thought alone!

Day 1 Post-Op

I just got home from the hospital about a hour ago. Surgery went well and so did the hospital stay. I'm uncomfortable from the gas pain, and sore when I get up and down. I weighed in at the hospital monday morning at 237!! 1 more week of clear liquids before moving on to full liquids.

Clear liquid diet :-(

I'm on day 5 of my clear liquid pre-op diet directed by my surgeon. I will have to say that every day its getting a little easier. My husband is being so supportive and has been eating chicken noodle soup nearly everynight and straining broth for me so it at least appears we are eating the same meal. I couldn't have asked for a better man!
2 more days til surgery! I'm down to 239 the last time I stepped on the scale. YAY!!
