Tracy, by the way FYI-Dr. Stoner was my doctor for the VBG he is a wonderful man and doctor. It was just a very popular and (considered successful) surgery at the time. In fact I talked to him about the revision and he was very interested in doing it, but didn't think I wanted to travel to Iowa. I didn't, I live in Michigan. His office was so nice and helpful about getting my old surgical records sent to me for this surgery. You are in good hands.

Hi Tracy, Good luck on your surgery. I too had a VBG 9 years ago and will have a revision to an RNY on 12-30. Tuesday it hit me and I too am now scared to death but I beleive God has guided me and if you believe that too then all will go well.

Hi Tracy!!!! You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you. You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel. You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!! Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike ride, get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!! Everything will be just fine and know you have a wonderful group of people here to help you meet your needs. The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!!
