100lbs!
Jul 25, 2009
Down 100lbs! Yeah! Of course the saggy stuff leaves alot to be desired. Insurance won't cover for a tummy tuck. Not sure why. I have Tricare and have seen lots of people have it approved. Plastic surgeon was very confident that they would pay. Maybe they're getting stricter. Hubby will be home from Iraq in a little over a month and a half. Yeah!

Surgery was 8/11/08

Since my RNY surgery in August of this year I have lost 55lbs. I wish I could say that it's the best thing that I have ever done for myself, but I can't. I've felt pretty crappy and have had a pretty rough go of it in the last 2 1/2 almost 3 months. Have "small pouch syndrome" which what was explained to me is that the receptors between the stomach and the brain are out of sync which in turn gave me lots of nausea. The protein drinks seem to make me very nauseaus and give me diarrhea. Now I am at the stage that I can eat whatever I want as long as it is tolerated. I'm not having a very good time with meats. They seem very heavy and just hang in my stomach. Yuck. Can't seem to do any starches either. Wondering if the area going into my stomach needs stretched. I'm tired of trying to eat things and getting a nausious or sick feeling. Everyone keeps saying, "Give it time, It'll get better." WHEN!!!!
