I was 340lbs when i had RYN surgery. I dropped 100lbs, but over the years, I have gained back 50lbs. I am now married and physically I am not doing well. I can't stand for long, my joints hurt and I'm always tired.

Due to my insurance, BCBSIL, they have few "approved" locations to perform bariatric surgery. The closest one is 1 00 miles away. They are great, but I need to take a day off from work for every appointment. I tell myself that there will only be a small handful of these days and that many years of freedom from fat will be worth it. its a small price to pay.

My Dr wants to do a lap band over my RYN. I'm not very happy with that since I don't know what the results will be since he hasn't done many.

Anyone, have this done? I need reassurance. Thanks
