  I am doing good - I had Lap RNY on Mon 19th - did not get released from Hospital until Friday at about noon!  That was frustrating -   I have had lots and lots of gas - I am taking gas x and prilosec OTC as directed by my doctor and it seems to be helping!  I came home from the hosp with a drain tube that we have to empty 2 times a day - YUCK    and also I have a pain pump going directly into my surgical site called "On  Q"  I am soooooo glad that I have this  - I have had very little pain and had to take very little narcotic pain meds due to this little contraption - I only take my Loritab Elixer at night so I can sleep better!  I go back to Doctor on Wed and he is suppose to remove all these little things so I am sure that I will be feeling even better after all this bulk is removed - I dont currently have a computer at home so will be limited to updates and emails but I will be back at work on Feb 2 so I will be able to update more frequently then - Thanks everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers!

 Hey everyone!  I am sooooo excited, got a call from my doctor yesterday and they changed my surgery date due to him being out of town during my planned sugery date (01-28-09).  the new date is Jan 19!   OMG that is in 9 days!  I cant believe this is finally going to happen!  I have worked toward this goal for over a year and it is finally going to happen! Wish me luck and send some prayers my way if you can!  I will update when its over!
