In the top 4

Well as of March 25th I was a year out from surgery. It has been a very exciting year. I have just watched that weight fall off. I have been exercising and eating right. I have went from 240 to 136, a size 20 to a size 4. When I began to gain the weight 10 years ago I wore a size 10, I felt pretty good but I was over weight then. I haven't been a size 4 since my oldest son was born, and he is not w 24 years old. I feel so much better. I don't need my breathing machine anymore. I have so many people telliing me that they can't tell the difference between me and my daughters and they are 21 & 22. And I have 43 years old. But sure do feel younger than I did a year ago.
This surgery is in the top 4 things of what I have ever done for myseld. 1 being giving my life to Christ, 2 marrying my husband, 3 having my children. And having my surgery. Im so thankful for the improvement in my life. I feel GREAT.

Well Im down to the last 25 lbs. and I have stalled. I have been 148,149 for about a month now. Im not sure if it is just because Im close to a year or if Im doing something wrong.
I have stepped up my exercise. Which has been difficult and painful. Due to the cold weather with the arthritis in my knees and hip. Some days I just can't do it. But I refuse to stop trying. I have a goal and I want to reach it. I have 2 months before Im a year out and I would like to reach my goal by then 125. The next time I see Dr. Custer in March, I would love to walk in his office at my goal weight.
I don't think I will need to have any skin removed, very thankful for that. But my body sure isn't the same as it was before I gained the weight. But I am 10 years older and I did put my body thru alot. I would like to have a few things done just to put things back in their proper place LOL. but we'll see. I don't even know where to begin to get info on that. But I will find out.
I'll be so glad when this weather breaks and the warm sun comes out. My joints will feel so much better.
Have a blessed one

Well as of Today I weight 149.
I still can't believe it. I started out at 240
I still have about 30 pounds to reach my goal, but right now I am so thankful and happy. just wanted to share it
I got through the holidays very well. I do all the cooking.
But I was suprised, I wasn't even tempted to eat all the Sweet Potato Pie.
