October 16, 2006 - I saw my surgeon on Friday, 10-13-06 to schedule my surgery. My surgery date is November 13, 2006. I can hardly wait.
December 4, 2006 - I am now 3 weeks post-op and have 16+ lbs off already. I feel great and have had no bad side effects. I go back to see my surgeon on Dec. 12th and will ask him then when I can go back to work. I know he will probably tell me not til after Christmas or the 1st of the year. If so, so be it. I will follow his directions. NO MORE SWOLLEN ANKLES!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!
January 27, 2007 - I am now 2 months post-op and have 35 lbs off. I am able to do most anything and am back to work doing taxes but haven't gone back to my other job yet. My intake has increased to about 1/2 cup to 1 cup per meal. I still feel great and no bad sidee effects. I am wearing clothes that I haven't had on in almost 5 years. HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!
March 12, 2007 - I am now 4 months post-op and have 51 lbs off. I saw my surgeon today and he was very happy with my weight loss. I have half my weight off.YEA!!!!! I go back to see him June 12th.
April 10, 2007 - Tomorrow is my 38th Wedding Anniversary. Hubby is 30 lbs shy of what he weighed when we got married and I am 66 lbs shy of what I weighed. My hubby had his surgery in May, 2004 and has been my biggest supporter. We plan to celebrate the end of the month when we go to visit relatives with a night out somewhere.
August 4, 2008 - Tomorrow is my 60th Birthday. I have lost 110 lbs and am scheduled to have my tummy tuck on Nov. 4th. That should put me at the same weight that I weighed when I graduated from
High School over 40 years ago. I am so excited. My family is still my greatest support.
