Today (August 16, 2008), I went in for fill/adjustment number 5.  It was alot like my experience with fill number 4 , but now my band is at 7.75 cc so Dr. Smith is pretty sure should be at the green zone by now.  I weighed 265 lbs. at my last fill and I weighed in today at 257 lbs.,  so I am making some progress , slowly but surely.

I had the pleasure of getting my 4th fill on yesterday June 19, 2008 and I must say it was an adventure. I was at 6.5 cc and then 1 cc was added, I then tried drinking some water (because that is always normal procedure before you leave the Dr.'s office after a fill) , and I could not get the water down and then I discovered I couldn't swallow my own spit.  I must say that was not a good feeling at all , so needless to say , I went back in and a quarter of a cc was removed and I was able to swallow and drink water. Today has been really interesting, soup is my best friend and I was only able to eat half of a small baked potatoe, so if I keep this up , then I should see some real results in the next month.
