The Journey officially begins July 18

On July 18th I have my first seminar on the lap band procedure at GBMC in Baltimore, MD. This is step one in the surgery process. I must say I am extremely excited about this whole process. I've tentatively chosen Dr. David von Reuden to be my surgeon. From what I've read and seen he does great work with the surgeries and GBMC is widely known for their work in bariatrics. If there is anyone out there who has had the surgery at GBMC or had Dr von Reuden as their surgeon please let me know what your imrpessions of the hospital and the doctor are.
