I had my surgery on July 31st in Houston. I would recommend Dr. Marvin to anyone. He and his staff are great. Flying from Houston back to Amarillo wasnt' much fun but other than that it was an overall good experience.
This has been much easier than I even thought it would be. I don't crave any foods, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I feel better, I'm beginning to look better.

Here it is the middle of March and I am still waiting to have my surgery. Dr. Crum is still waiting on approval from the state and the wait is getting ridiculous. But, what do I do??? Just patiently wait I guess since I have no other choice. I figure God has a plan and when the time is right I will have it done.
Would love to hear from anyone and about there WLS experience. I love hearing and seeing the success stories and one day I can post my success's too!!!!!

Still waiting for surgery

Well. my December 7th surgery date was changed to December 10th and then I got a call from Dr. Crum telling me all surgeries were cancelled until after the 1st of the year. I understand why it happened. I was so psyched and ready then I got depressed but as the time draws nearer, I am getting very excited again. My surgery probably won't be until the first week of February.
I am so ready to start my life healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get to change my life on December7, 2007!!! I am so excited and can not wait. I wish I had researched this years ago. but now, i have the rest of my life to look forward being healthy!!
