"Dr. Jones is the most experienced Doctor in my area. He has been doing this surgery for 15 years. He is very nice and knowledgable. I have a friend that had gastric bypass by him and she couldn't stop bragging about how she loved him. His office staff were very helpful and supportive. I would have liked more information from them about what to expect on the first few days after surgery. I heard others at the support group say they were very nausated. I would tell others to come prepared with 2 letters from other Doctors supporting the physical need for this weight loss surgery. I did. They make it clear over and over how important aftercare is as well as an ongoing support group. They do have a structrured aftercare program. The risks were upfrontly addressed. They scared me. I am a big chicken anyway. I know the benefits outweigh the risks to me now. The health risks later would be worse to me. I would rate Dr. Jones and his staff with a 10+ on the 1--10 scale. "
