Today is the Day

I am sitting in my living room at 1:51am because I cannot sleep. I feel likea kid on Christmas Eve. My wife and I will be leaving for the hospital at 5am and are scheduled to arrive at 6am. I weighed in this moring at 281.4 sans clothes and 284.4 with clothes,
I am ready to take the next step in this journey, Now if I could just rest before leaving for the hospital.

Today starts my last weekend before my surgery. I will be in the hospital recovering this time next week. Going to spend the weekend doing thing with my family and continuing to explain what exactly will be happening to me after the surgery. I have my vena cava filter placement on Thursday and the surgery on Friday, 11-11-11. Gotta say that I am really excited and not really nervous at all.
