"Dr Dyer is a great surgeon and person. I was impressed by his down-to-earth knowledge of the procedures and his genuine concern for my health long-term. rnrnThe surgery, although delayed a few hours because of the case in front of me, was smooth and I have had no issues with pain or leaks. I think I hit the pain-button twice the first night out of frustration of just not being comfortable, but I never took a pain pill, tylenol or anything. It was just not nearly as painful as expected. Worst part for me was the catheter! The drain tube was more aggravation than pain, and it came out the first week back with no issues. The port was \"odd feeling\" to clean, but not painful and I was walking a /12 ile on the second day home from the hospital.rnrnAlso I cannot say enough about my day nurse at Centennial. She was great, there if needed but not aggravating... and she did told me to watch being hateful when she said \"Ill be back\" after a blood thinner shot and I said \"I am sure you will\" jokingly.rnrnDr Dyers follow up and easy to follow instructions have also made this a breexe. I was back to work on the 10th day after suregery for 4 hours, then 6 hours and the following Monday went back full time. (I am in management so not allof of physical stress, but was walking a mile 4 times a week by that Monday).rnrnThe staff and accessibility to staff at the office is also a huge plus. If you live in the area and are thinking about surgery, see the Centennial Center for Treatment of Obesity. This is a perfectly structured, well oiled machine of knowledge and care!! rnrnrnrn"
