I'm so glad it's over. I'm very sore though...and the gas they used to fill my stomach up with, is still causing me some pain in my shoulders. My doctor found out that I had a hernia that had to be repaired before he could put my Realize Band on, so that's another reason I'm more sore. I feel VERY bloated, and not hungry AT ALL! I can barely get down small sips of broth and water...and I'm scared of dehydrating. But, they say this is all normal.

I'll get on later and give you all the gory details, LOL! I still feel kind of out of it at the moment.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Wow, tomorrow is the big day.

I decided to come into work today because I thought this would help keep my mind occupied. But, really...I'm worthless in here right now. My thoughts are on tomorrow morning. I have to get up around 4:30 AM (or sooner), get the kids off to my mother in law's house...then get to the hospital by 6:00 AM. I am scheduled for surgery at 7:45. I know my blood pressure is up and my face is starting to break out!! It's stress taking it's toll on me. I skipped lunch today because my stomach is queasy. You'd think I'd be eating a TASTY lunch the day before. LOL!

Yes, I'm nervous...and now I'm a little scared. But, I've never been more ready.
 
I hope everyone else that's going in for surgery soon has a "text book" procedure with no complications. I can't wait to come back and update you all.

My surgery (Realize Band) is scheduled for this Tuesday, October 20th. I am the first patient that morning, so I have to be there bright and early at 6:00 am. This past week has just FLOWN by and I think I have practically LIVED on this website! It's been so helpful!

I can't stop wondering what I'm going to look and feel like 3 months from now, 6 months from now...a YEAR from now!

I'm just a mix of emotions right now. I'm so ready to start this journey...this is just SO exciting!
