He was magnificent!!! He's a talented surgeon, great bedside manner, very attentive, accommodating, and knows his stuff. I had gastric bypass surgery 2 years ago. I lost 180 pounds. Got to my goal in 1 year. I had a lot of excess skin and decided the only way I was going to get out of the feeling like a "fat person" mentality and feel like a "skinny person" was to remove the excess skin.
I am now 8 months out from my lower body lift/breast lift. It took a little while to recuperate, but I'm doing GREAT!!!! Everyone recuperates differently. I am diabetic(one of 5% of gastric bypass patients that are still diabetic after surgery, just my luck) so my recuperation was a little harder than the norm, which can be frustrating. I kept up a positive attitude. This is NOT an easy surgery, but I can now say it was well worth the pain. Dr Gitt took EXCELLENT care of me as well as his staff. I had some medical issues after surgery, and he was very responsive to my needs. He is truly a sincere, caring, experienced Doctor. His staff is GREAT also. Laura is very knowledgable and caring. She has a lot of patience. The office staff will take excellent care of you. If you need to call after hours, Dr Gitt is readily available to answer your questions/concerns immediately.
I would HIGHLY recommend DR Gitt for any cosmetic procedure. His esthetician gives great facials also and the Jane Iredale makeup line is wonderful. I sound like a commercial huh? Well, It's not!!!
