Hi, Thelma, I guess I've taken a special interest in you since I have been wondering whether or not to try to talk my mother into the switch. She's 67 and a semi-retired, registered nurse with diabetes and high blood pressure and bad knees. (Sound familiar?) She's probably only about 35 BMI. I'm going to be anxious to hear how you're doing after your surgery. How will you let us know? Is there a way I can check on you? I'll be holding you close to my heart this week! LeaAnn

It is an interesting experience and certainly not "the easy way out" of being unhealthy and obese but each day will get a little better and be further proof that you dared to dream and had the courage to act.
