I talked to my dietician on my last appt. and for my new insurance I have to have 3 appts with a dietician, instead of 6 months with my regular dr.  I will meet with Jeanie again on Feb. 20 and I will be meeting with my nurse, Lynn, on the same day for my teaching appt.  I have to call my nurse on Monday to make sure she has submitted my info to the surgeon.  I am really looking forward to hearing about this.  I know now that my surgery will be after my wedding, but that is totally ok.  I am just excited to be getting healthy and marrying my honey.

I am well on my way of completing the steps needed to have surgery.  I have my psych eval done, I have met with the dietician and will meet with her again on Jan. 28.  I will then have 3 months of approved diet plans.  I am also meeting with the exercise specialist on the 15th.  I am hoping to learn some ways that I can work out.  I am so very excited to be this far and will keep plugging away.  I can't wait until I meet with my nurse again.

I am at the beginning of my WLS journey.  My sister and I are working on it together.  We are making a little progress.  I have had my initial visit with the nurse and working towards my psych eval and my dietician appt.
