I am a mother of three young kids. I gained most of my weight with my daughter Kaley. My first pregnancy I gained 68lbs. I tried all kinds of diets to lose it and I never could get it off. Then I got pregnant with my first son Trenten where I gained another 35lbs. I decided with my son to be a stay at home mom. Stopping work I had an even harder time losing weight. I again got pregnant and had a miscarrage, after that I gained even more weight. I finnally got pregnant with my baby boy Kordden. I only gained 12lbs the whole time I was pregnant but we were in a car accident 10 days before I was to have my c-section. I have since had alot of back pain. I spent lots of time working on getting my back better but knew that with all my extra weight I would still be in alot of pain. Then one day my sister in law called and told me that she was going in to get gastric by pass. I had looked into it and thought I could never aford to get it done but it was always in the back of my mind. She then told me that her insurance was paying for it. I decided to see if mine would do the same. Sure enough thay did. It took me about a year to go through all the insurance reguirements. But I got it all done. I am now about four month out and am down 59 lbs. My back is starting to have less pain. I feel great and am very happy with how life is going. I get to enjoy doing things with my kids. My kids are happy that I did it and they even say they see a differance in me. They don't fully understand it but they see me changing and they are very happy that I did it. My husband has been great through all of it he has loved me no matter what I have looked like. He has always said he doesn't care but he is also happy that i feel better about myself. I decided since having the by-pass to get a job. Im really enjoying geting out and spending time doing something new.
