well its been a long time since i have posted. got down to 155 as lowest weight and really had a hard time with the way i looked have never seen so many of my own bones. well finally got the go ahead in sept. 2010 to be able to get pregnant and my husband became ill. we went thru almost a year of different types of treatment just to find out he had a kidney stone. well with all the different medications they gave him we were advised to hold off for 6 months once he stopped taking the meds so they could leave his system and not be a factor in the health of our pregnancy. so in sept. 2011 we got pregnant and i had an amazing pregnancy and was very focused on my health and having a healthy baby. everything was great..... and i gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. i thought i was doing well after i had her but quickly found out that it was much harder taking care of 2 with special requirements then one giant incubator. i started to become very dehydrated and lazy in my routine i think because of the exhaustion of new motherhood i really treated myself horribly. i have gained 35 lbs back and now have become obsessed and have come down with a handful of serious health issues. absorption is my worst i  have a standing appointment at the cemo room for iron infusions, dehydration iv,magnesium and b-12 shots. i think this sight helped me in the beginning and can help me now. 

Well it's been over a year now and do i feel great! am now at a good weight of 161lbs. would like to loss alittle more but would be ok here. Am now waiting for the day that the dr. says i can get pregnant. so waiting.........................................

Hello everyone, Let me first say thank you all for the support. I want to tell you I am doing well have lost a total of 25lbs. I think since i started this journey. Not sure what is correct the public scale is different then the Dr. scale.I started eating solids and have done OK with everything I have eaten as long as I chew,chew,chew, and then chew some more. If the pieces are small and I eat vvveeeerrrryyyy slowly I won't dump. I still am having trouble with getting all the stuff in that is asked of us so my energy level is all out of wacko. I also have to go back to work on Wed . and boy am I not sure how that is going to go. Very scared need the money desperately but also not sure if I am healed enough for the physical requirements.  I have had a lot of time to think since I am not feeding myself, instead I'm listening to myself and this has really been a mental journey I have started on. Everyone tells you this will happen but you really truly don't understand until you go Thu it. I used to love to have parties and dinner BBQ's at our house and go and eat with everyone and be merry and now...... Eating has become an inconvenient pass time that makes me crazy especially when everyone says "no what do you want to eat" I wonder has anyone else felt this way????? Til next time

Well it's now Monday and a week since surgery. I am feeling much better I stopped taking the hard meds on Thursday because i hated the way my brain would not work. Started taking children's Tylenol if i had pain but everyday after didn't have much pain. Have been getting yelled at alot for trying to do to much and lifting things.... very hard to get used to being waited on. Started puree foods today so had 1 (eggbeater egg) and all stayed down. I also have had some small mishaps with drinking to much or not drinking enough. If anyone has any ideas on how to keep track of things better or any puree ideas send them on down. I have lost 7lb. since surgery!yeah.

Hi everyone, I am home it's now Thurs. my surgery was on Monday and we spent the night in town just to make sure everything would be OK. And i am so glad we did some how I received the foot pump machine without the foot pump so fair warning remember to check everything you are taking with you. Have gotten some good meds so still a little groggy. Also got a medicine pouch so ask your doctor about this ahead of time kinda freaked me out because we were required to pull this out of me today AT HOME!  I do have all kinds of info for those of you wanting to know about Pine creek but not sure if it will make sense right now.! hehehe good drugs! I give it an overall 8 for the staff and 11 for the facility very posh place. I do recommend that when they tell you to walk DO IT. ! will blog more when i have a clear head. Well it is Sunday and I will be leaving for Dallas soon. Have been on Liquid Diet since monday and have not had any problems. It's strange to take all these pills allday everyday so one thing i am getting used to. Well don't have a strait brain to blog and have a 3hr. drive ahead of us. Early surgery time so wish me luck!
won't be back on til maybe thursday so pray all goes well.

It's now July 14Th and I only have 6 days till I start my total LIQUID DIET and then to my surgery. I have heard that this will be one of the hardest weeks ahead of me. I have lots of advice but any more would be greatly appreciated, and tips on vitamins would be great too! I am feeling like this week is really been hard to concentrate and focus. I am hoping this is normal.

WELL HAD MY EGD ON THE 20TH. WAS REALLY NERVOUS BUT IT SEEMED TO OF WENT WELL NOW I WAIT TO HEAR ABOUT MY BIOPSY THAT DR. BARKER DID AND THEN WE ARE ON THE HOME STRETCH.

Well it's now 6/16/09 and I have finally got my APPROVAL (YIPPEE)!!
We have a date for surgery penciled in! JULY 27TH Ok so feeling a lot of feeling now and have not been so good with all my post-op things i need to do so i need to find my focus again and stay there! wish me luck :)
any and all advice will help!

Well going to Dr. Barker's for my 4Th visit. Did my 3Month study for the Ins. and now WAITING WITH FEAR AND HOPE AND ANTICIPATION to find out IF I got approved and or what else I need to do. Am hoping to have my surgery date scheduled for July 24Th, 2009. Wish me luck!
