Do you know of anyone who has joined Weight Watchers over 25 times? Just one more try, and I will "do" it. That would be me. Oh my gosh. Trying and failing has been the saga of my weight loss story. Then, last fall, I went on Byetta, for my diabetes. For the very first time in my entire life I experienced "fullness" I was shocked. What a delightful feeling! After several weeks, I realized if I was out and unable to take the shot, I ate like my old normal self..indulging and unable to stop. When I took the shot, I am new and improved and loving the feeling of being FULL. In April, I started the search for a permanent way to feel full...and that is when I heard about lap band surgery. I was immediately excited and wanted this procedure! For me to decide to have a colonscopy and an EDG...is amazing in itself. I am fearful of procedures, doctors, hospitals...but knowing I can see the bigger picture, Just one more appointment......I am thrilled and waiting for my surgery date!
