Throughout my life I have always been very active. In high school I was captain of the cheerleading squad and always found myself involved in something. This pattern continued through college. It wasn't until I was blessed with my son that it happened upon me! I gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy and unfortunately after my delivery, the weight roller coaster began. I always thought that prego people were supposed to eat and believe me; I ate everything I thought I was craving. I guess I assumed that since weight was never an issue for me previously, I would loose it. So now it's been 16 years and I am still fighting the beast. I can no longer attribute this excess to "baby fat". I am stepping out on faith
and embarking on a new journey toward being a healthier me! Some have said that this is the easy way out but I beg to differ! This it seems will be one of the hardest things that I have ever attempted because I am going to have to make tremendous permanent changes.
Yaaaay me; the best is yet to come!
