Well I received my date for my surgery, I will be getting the gastric bypass done by Dr. John D. Nye, M.D. in Pensacola, Fla. it is the 28th of April at 7:30 in the morning…I am so excited but scared to death too.... I know I am doing this for all the right reasons...My family is behind me 100%...My husband & daughter have  been behind me every step of the way, I was really scared to tell my parents because I just knew they would not be for it...But I was wrong and  they were. So I want to thank them all for supporting me....I don’t ever want to go into something without the Lord being in it. He is the one I go to, when I am in need, without him I would be nothing...This is a very hard thing for me to do as it has been for a lot of people on here...I have read so many stories on this site and it has really helped a lot. I have read  where the people that have done this has went in it for all of the right reasons & then I have read just a handful that has went in this for all the wrong reasons...I am a diabetic have been for about 8 years. I hate being one & it is because of the weight the doctor said if I would lose the weight I could come off of the pills but every time I would lose it ,I would just turn around & put it back on plus more...I would not say I'm a depressed person so I didn’t put on the weight that way...I got married & have enjoyed being a wife & a mother & I guess you could say that is where I put on the weight....because I am happy with life….
