First Fill

I have just had my first fill and I was so scared. I laid down and I was taking big breaths. The doctor knew I was scared. He poked around and then said "all done" I said "have you done the needle part" he said "yes, all done" I was so excited.
I don't think I have much restriction as yet, but I am sure that will come in time and more fills. I am trying to make good food choices to keep healthy and set a good example for my daughters.

Preop Diet

I have been on the preop diet of Optifast for 1.5 days and I am so hungry and bored with what I am eating. I am hoping this passes. I have the Optifast diet for 2 weeks.
I am now getting excited about the operation but still a little nervous.

I now have a date for surgery of 19th November 2007. I am a little scared about the surgery but hopefully that passes by the time I get in there.
I have been invited to a support group at my Surgeons rooms. The receptionist thought it would be good for me to see all the success stories and ask some questions.

Second Surgeons Appointment

I went to my second surgeons which was a different one to the first and I feel really comfortable with him. He has a great follow up program with a monthly support group and really nice staff at the clinic.
I now have to have a blood test, a dietitian appointment, a cardiologists appointment and a psychologists appointment and then I go back to him and if everything is ok then I will probably have a date for surgery in November. YAY!!
What was weird though, I weighed 5 kilos more than I usually do and I measured 10 centimetres shorter. So my BMI was about 5 more than usual.

Another Doctors Appointment

I went to my surgeon appointment on the 22nd and wasn't totally comfortable, so I have another appointment with a surgeon that has been doing the operation longer on the 12th of September. I have a great feeling about this next appointment. Hopefully I can get a date in November for surgery. I have done a whole bunch of research and had a lot of help from everyone on the message board here at Obesity Help. You guys know so much. It's such a great help.
