I am a 31 year old mom of two. I have an almost 8 year old and an almost 1 year old. I have been over weight almost my entire life and I hate it. I have lost weight before and achived it but I lost it the wrong way and gained everything back. I entered into an abusive relationship for almost 4 years turned to food to cope. I took my life back into my control about 5 years ago. I got rid of the ex and found a man who loves me the way I am and he is very supportive of my decision. He only wants to see me happy. After taking control of my life I have tried and tried and failed at losing the weight. I had my son almost 1 year ago and now I am at my heaviest weight I have ever been. My max weight was 333lbs. As of today, I am down to 315lbs and waiting for my last results to get to my doctor so we can send it to the insurance company for approval.
I am hoping to get the sleeve done, when everything finally gets approved. I have considered the band but with all the risks and all the people I have talked to, the sleeve seemed to be the best decision for me. All my friends and family have been very supportive of my decision and knowing this is the right decision for my health.
