Well my story is ever changing,one could say. My name is Tammy and I am 33. I have been obese since I got pregnant at the age of 15. I can honestly say that I have had the idea of surgery for many years.. I have been successful in weight loss but the usual would happen. It came back, not slowly come back on either. I know that going through this process is not the fix and I have to change my relationship with food. I always thought that the kids and family ALWAYS came first. I let myself go..not any more... I have to take me on to be alive for the future. So I started doing all the steps in August of 09 and on August 5th 2010 I am going in changing my life. The only reason that it took so long is because when I started the process my insurance changed so needless to say it took a little longer, which I am fine with because I have had time to truly consider the life changes and understand that I have the right and obligation to take care of ME.
So here I am looking for a place to go to when I just need advice and to listen to others just plain support......
