I am scheduled for revision surgery on 1/5/2009. I originally had the lap band on 2/2/2005.
After a long emotional journey of ups and downs, I am so ready for my vgs! i have struggled so much with my weight since four years of age. I even had the first bypass surgery back in its early days. I lost a lot of weight but I got very sick due to the malabsorption issues. The Dr's. said I had to be re-connected or die. I said just let me die thin!! But I had two little girls at the time and I needed to be here for them. Needless to say I was very angry and ate myself right back to my presurgery weight. I was so in hopes that the lapband would be the answer for me. But after so many issues with it, Dr. Baker worked with my insurance to get me approved for the sleeve. I feel so so hopeful that this will finally be the solution for me. I have a brand new grandson now and I want to be here for him for a long time!!! I am so excited to becoming healthy and happy!!! I humbly ask for your prayers as I start this new journey. Thank you!!!!!
