I am a Registered Nurse fastly approaching my 40th birthday. I have been overweight all my life and have lost a substantial amount of weight but am never successful in maintaining the loss. When the scale was approaching 300 I decided it was time to do something. My PCP agreed. I currently am in the 6 month supervised diet stage. I have not decided if I want a LAGB or RNY. I have attended a seminar with Bluegrass Bariatrics but have not made a final decision about my physician. The nurse in me has to do lots of research before letting someone cut on me. I am looking forward to joining the loosers bench and starting a new chapter to my life.
