I am really happy to say that my husband and I are back together after a 10 month separation.  He has been a great support for me now that he understands a little more about what is happening and why I am doing this.  At first he was afraid for me.  He has still got a little bit of fear, mostly that there will be complications and I will get very sick.  I hope that with the support groups and with the online support that we will be able to settle his mind and help him better understand why this surgery is very much needed for a healthy future.  Vic is my husband's name and he went to a support group meeting and it went well and was able to answer some of the questions at the meeting.  I was amazed even by the notes that he kept during the meeting.  He is trying very hard to learn every thing he can about this procedure and how it will change our lives.  Not just mine.
