My story is probably like others. I have been overweight ever since I can remember. I have tried a number of diets to no avail. I currently weigh 395lbs and I am 5'9" Even being overweight I have always tried to act confident and I think its time that instead of acting confident that this Lap-Band surgery will help me feel confident and be confident. I am a generally happy person and have a great support system with my family. I know that life with the Band will not be easy but thats okay I KNOW that I CAN DO IT!!!! I have to, I have a son to think about and that reason alone is why I am doing this. So wish me luck and hopefully soon I will be on the Loser's Bench with everyone else.
