Good Morning,
As of Monday July 16th, I am now 5 years out from my weight loss surgery.I have not had any surgery related issues since my surgery. I am so very happy that I made this decision for my life. It has made an awesome difference in me and many areas of my life. My wonderful husband has been by my side the whole time and is very supportive. I lost a total of 107 pounds, I have been enrolled in college for the last three years and I know that without the surgery I would not have allowed myself to do many of the things I have done in the last few years. If you are considering having weight loss surgery, my advice is to consult a bariatric surgeon that does these procedures regularly, ask questions and research the internet. You have to be sure this is what you want to do. My surgeon is an extraordinary man and I will always be grateful to Doctor Freeman in Anniston Alabama. If I had consulted with any other doctor I am not sure I would have been as comfortable and doubt free as I was with my choice. Good luck and if you have any questions that I can answer about my experience I will be happy too.
