I had surgery on 3/10/08 and it was very uneventful thank god for that.
I was prepared for all the pain but it really was not that bad except for the drain that was removed on 3/18/08...i felt like a new woman when that came out...i still have no energy and am still on a liquid diet...Can i say i am hungry...I am just dying to have pureed soup or something...Good news i have lost 17lbs since my surgery date

This is really really hard.....I started my diet Monday and am so sick of it already....I am hungry.....I can only have broth ,protein shake, jello and all the water or crystal light i can drink...i have to do this for 2 weeks....ugh

I saw Dr.Cantor on Tuesday and all was well he is a very cautious Dr a and sent me to have a EKG b/c i took phen-phen in the past...i got that appt on friday and he was pleased that i had finished everything else that was required of me so i see him again on 2/19/08 then we can schedule surgery...It is really going to happen and i am so excited

FINALLY..............
After going thru my 6 month program i am approved for surgery.The process seemed like it was taking forever.I enrolled in the Kaiser program in July and finished it in December.The surgeons office called to schedule an appt and i see him on 1/29/08...God is Good
